Lately, when I shop for fabrics, my eyes tend to settle for nautical prints. I don't know, but that blue, red, cream just scream at me sometimes. And being myself, I have terribly low self restriction especially when I fall in love with a certain fabric. Saying NO is too harsh. Hahaha... excuses eh?
That's why my husband says.
Last couple of nights we were talking and he was telling me how I sneak out to buy fabrics thinking that he doesn't know and that in actual fact I'm bad at hiding secrets. haha... And he said, "You don't even know where you stash your stuff and in the end, I'm the one who knows..." haha... find it funny when confronted with truth, but can't help it. If I over shop for fabrics, he'll put brakes on me and being me,,, I like choices. I AM a girl. haha...
Anyway, enough rants on me. So this morning, I got to sewing and this was the output:
A Seafarer's Duffle.
I loved how the colors work. And... since I haven't sewn anything for myself in the last couple of months, I'm calling this my own. And I'm LOVING it! Can't wait to be using it.
